Today morning 3ereft 5abar en 2 of AYB members passed away, their friends m3ana f ACES w 2 menhom m3aya in my committee... gali el 5abar and bsara7a I was chocked! 

kona fl tari2 to the smart village w tool el tari2 kanet dema3'i sha3'ala w bafakar... I found myself kda bastarge3 sherit 7ayati odami =) and wondering What have I done a2abel bih Rabena sob7anaho wata3ala? estarge3t every single detail I do... in my whole life... I imagined yom ganazti w sa3et dafni... hal hakoun 7ad sale7 people will miss when he's gone? w lamma l nas temshi w yabda2 7essab el qabr... harou7 fein? 

yaaaaaaaaaaaah =') kanet moments 3'ariba! w ad eh I discovered enni moqassera =') w ad eh a3adt ad3i Rabena yehdina lel tariq al mostaqim w yer7amna wa ya3'fer lana wa yothabetna 3ala al 7aq wa yarzoqna eteba3o =') 

ad eh 7asseit en life is just too short! U can Never say I'm waiting for the right time! Simply, Coz U don't know when is that! U dunno emta haygilak Malak al Mawt wa yaqbod raw7ak!

I dunno what to say but I had Huge amount of feelings and thoughts in this 30 mns journey

LWT Philosophy (3)... "The key: LWT!"

We are now living in a crazy world… A world of extraordinary uncertainty and that’s going through a profound change… Everything changes every second, nothing is just kept the way it is… People change, work changes, technology changes, environment changes…. Everything changes… and we need to cope with that =) because change is what keeps life rolling…

But HOW? That’s the point!

There is only one answer to that “How”… Only one key to get to ride that change and reach your success...

This key is “LWT”

Actually, when I started reading about this concept… some of things that happened in my life became clear… I knew WHY!

Before I tell you what do those 3 letters mean, let me talk to you about the philosophy itself first =)

LWT is a simple profound way of working and living… it’s a transformational philosophy for work and life that anyone of any age from any place in any country can apply to unleash the “inner leader” and experience awesome results right away…

LWT is about a profound forgotten secret which is “you don’t need to have a position to be a leader”

LWT is about that everyone can lead… Not all just can… but MUST lead… because simply that’s how things get to be amazing

Let me tell you a short story =)

I was sitting once with my grandma… listening to her talking about her life… I love talking to this lady, she brings me to another world… every conversation with her teaches me huge lessons.

When we were talking, I asked her “You have been an AMAZING daughter, Sister, wife and mother… How did you do that?! It’s IMPOSSIBLE!” She replied with her warm beautiful smile “I was once listening to the radio, and the guy who was talking mentioned the characteristics of The PERFECT wife… and I simply worked on that” =)

My grandma was living a very simple life, she left school at 10 years old to help her mum in running the house but although all that, She’s one of the most successful and influential persons I’ve ever met in my life =)

It made me think long days… HOW?! Then I got the answer when I read the book =)

LWT is “LEADING WITHOUT A TITLE”

We all have a concept about leadership that I need to be in a position to practice my leadership… Some people actually wait their whole life to get the chance of getting a position to practice leadership… and I believed in that concept in the very first beginning

But you may never get this chance! So what are you going to do? Everyone one of us has a role to do and a responsibility toward people and the world we live in! So what is going to be your answer in front of ALLAH when he asks you about that?

The thing I discovered is that leadership is way more than that… it’s a wide world… wide deep amazing world =)

Leadership core is a lot more about how brilliantly you work and masterfully you behave… It’s about doing great work right were you now stand =)

It’s about lifting up every single one you know and get to serve

Leadership is simply about Knowledge, Pro-activity, Learning, developing and passing what you know.

We all have an “inner leader” inside of us longing to break free… We all have that natural power to lead… and it has nothing to do with a big title or how old we are or where we live =)

Because Simply, ALLAH prepared us with some tools to lead the earth =) don’t you think that Leadership is one of those? =)

In theater, they say “No role is small role”…. Same in life!

Everyone is important… Every little action or job you do matter… It leaves an impact and makes a difference… So, NEVER underestimate the power of any action or word you say even if it was small =)

Imagine a Music concert, everyone playing on his instrument… What would happen if any of the players was out of time or not mastering this instrument? That what would exactly happen if nobody showed leadership…

We all need to lead where we are planted and shine where we find ourselves… and the awesome result of revealing leadership within your area of influence is that the more you do it, the more your influence will expand.

Regardless your position or title or whether you have one or not, it’s YOU who have full control to show up your role… We have that gift… we have thatPOWER OF CHOICE AND DECISIONS…

You are the ONE who CHOOSES how to respond to the environment around you… and ONLY when you choose peaks performance and personal leadership… The world will be a better place =)

So you just don’t need a formal authority to lead anymore… ONLY A DESIRE TO DO SOMETHING AND THE COMMITMENT TO MAKE A POSITIVE CHANGE

If you have that, then WELCOME TO LEADERSHIP =)

That is the secret behind the success of my grandma =)

That is simply the secret behind the success of Opera winfery, Michael Jordon, Charlie Chaplan… etc

That is the SIMPLE secret behind the success of the early Muslims in the era of Our Prophet Mohamed and the Muslim scientists =)

They CHOSE to be MASTERS in what they do =) They CHOSE GREATNESSand Nothing less =)

Just an important thing to remember =)

Leadership is about first “Leading YOUR ship”

Because knowing who you are, where you are heading, what’s your vision, what are your mastering area, is essential to unleash that inner leader you have inside =)

You may now ask me WHY LWT?! And why to bother thinking about all that?!

LWT philosophy (2)... "A+"

Last time we talked that ALLAH created us for a huge purpose and for a certain mission to do on this earth which is worshiping him, building this land and to be his khalifa, and that everyone of us has a certain role to do to fulfill this big mission... A certain role for ONLY him to do.

When you are up to big match, you should be well prepared! you know all the tools you will use, you put your plans ans tactics to go for it... Same for ALLAH :)

When he created us for that big mission, He gave us some tools and not just ordinary tools! he gave us our BRAINS and HUGE potentials inside... potentials and power beyond imagination... beyond anyone can know 

A situation happened to me 3 years ago proves what I am about to say.

I had a friend who was younger by 1 year... he was facing some problems in studying. when I was talking to him, all he was saying was "It too hard... really I don't know what i can do... It's too hard, I can't study... I am gonna fail". Every time I talked to him he was saying the same words, with more belief every time! 

That was annoying me so much! and actually, every time I try to think with him to find a solution, he just keeps repeating these words! the day of the results came and guess what? HE FAILED! That situation really taught me a lot...

Everyone of us has the Potential to be genius and master at what we do, unfortunately most of us DON'T believe in that truth... but what we don't know is that Actually our beliefs are nothing more than thoughts we've repeated over and over until we've made them a personal truth!

And the sad thing is when you keep talking yourself in a negative words, your mind receives it as a truth about you and just make you work upon that... Your mind returns what you are giving to him.

A small example to clarify this :)

Your mind is exactly like The farmer land! you get what you plant! The land doesn't care if you planted a seed of carrot or bad seeds... if you keep watering those seeds, you'll get carrots or a bad plant! Same as your mind! whether you think something is possible or impossible, you'll most be certainly right! because OUR BELIEFS DETERMINE OUR BEHAVIOR...

ALLAH won't give us something to do without giving you the necessary tools for it. but the trick is NOT ALL the tools are clear, some of them are hidden.. you just have to look for them...

Just know it's all ABOUT YOU!

One of my friends said once "ONLY when you want something badly with all your guts, shall you achieve whatever you do want" 

It's YOUR CHOICE to whether use these potentials to get there or not.. it's YOUR CHOICE to whether you'll go for it with all your guts or not....

It's all about YOU and nobody else!

You may now stop me and say "That's great! but Life is not that easy... full of problems and it's tiring and it became IMPOSSIBLE to live a good life"

I'll answer "Yes, I agree" BUT..... Life is ups and downs... may be a lot of us faced so many downs in life and sometimes you just ask yourself "WHY ME?"

I'll tell you "WHY YOU!" :) Because ALLAH is raising you! Yeah, ALLAH is raising you! When he created us, he knew very well that the ummah is going to through different periods of ups and downs. And he wants the people who will make it rise again with certain qualifications... Imagine the honor! This is how ALLAH perceives you! Someone who will make the Ummah rise again!

Just like a job in a multinational company, there are certain qualifications to be accepted in that company. and that's why ALLAH created tests...

We are facing difficulties and problems in life not because he wants us to suffer... He put you in that test for 3 main reasons...

1st: To raise you... To make you a better person... to teach you... to add to you... to rebuild you in much more great way..

2nd: To remove your sins & hear your doaa.... ALLAH loves you more than anybody else... and he wants to hear from now and then your doaa and to get closer to him.

3rd: To test your faith and raise it... he won't leave us saying "we believe in ALLAH" without actually testing that .... Simply because, he wants us to be ROLE MODELS, to walk the talk and to mean really the words we say.

An important thing you have to know as well.. ALLAH put you in that test knowing very well that you'll make it... knowing very well you'll make the best out it... because it's in this time, The true YOU rises... Discovering and using those amazing potentials inside, you don't know about...

Nobody chooses for you better than ALLAH!! and it was demonstrated for me in every single thing I do.

2 years ago, I was a member in 2 activities one is ACES and one is called XPLORE ... I was an HR member in the 1st one and a trainer in the 2nd one. my heads in both activities wanted me to put preferences for the places we were going to work in. and in the same time, XPLORE was preparing for a campaign and wanted to recruit for a project manager. I decided to go for that post.

After few days, I received the results! I've got in both activities the SECOND preference! and I was rejected as the Project manager. Beside that, I've worked with a partner in XPLORE, she was still new and didn't know much about our work. I felt then SHOCKED! and I was really upset! but I said "Al hamdulellah anyway.. & I'll do my best"

At the end of the year, The AMAZING planning of ALLAH was clarified to me... Subhana ALLAH! The 2nd preferences that came to me were the BEST places ever! worked with amazing people and learned SO MUCH! and played a HUGE role in what I've reached till now. My partner in XPLORE became one of the BEST friends I've ever had... and the Big one, is that the launch of the campaign and the launch of ACES academy were in the same day!and the partner, I wished to work with in XPLORE, left it 2 weeks before the sessions of the workshop!

So truly, Nobody chooses for you better than ALLAH... So be SURE that everything happens for you is in your own good... He wants you to get that"A+" in your life! and all that's happening is part of ALLAH's PLAN for you...

Well, I want you to try something...

I want you to remember the worst situation you've ever been through... I know it's hard but go on with me please.

Now think about it with the concept we have just said... Grab a pen and a paper & write 2 columns labeled "Before" & "After" ... Example: "May Before" & "May After". Now fill those 2 columns honestly...

When you finish this table, write a title: "Lessons learned"

Think deeply when you do that paper... look at all views of the situation.

and when You are done, just look deep into it... Believe me, you'll find yourself smiling :)

But a small note while doing this! Do it with the concept of ALLAH is raising me and that he'is teaching me and let me how you felt and discovered after that...

LWT philosophy (1)…. "WHO AM I?"

You are sure now wondering what’s “LWT philosophy” and what does the 3 letters “LWT” stands for..

Before we go into that and start talking about that philosophy, let me ask you some questions... and please write in a paper with you and think deeply about their answers.

You are now in front of the computer, in your home… You wake up in the morning… You go to college or school or work… do some other things – if you have any – and go back home and finally end your day in bed waiting for the next morning to begin... but Have you ever stopped for a second and ask yourself…WHY AM I BORN? WHY DID ALLAH CREATE ME ON THIS EARTH? 

We all know that we were created for constructing and building this land and to be ALLAH’s Khalifa on the earth … but that’s not what I mean!

Why ME? Why am I standing now in this moment in this place? Why Egypt not India? Why Cairo not Alex? Why now not 2050? 

Will give u a small hint...

ALLAH created us to do a mission which is worshiping him and worshiping is not just praying and fasting... it’s way more beyond that.

You were created here in this place in this particular moment of time for a reason, for a mission to do... A particular mission for you and ONLY you to do.

And that’s something you have to fulfill, I have to fulfill, every single one living on this earth has to fulfill 

The important question is… Do you actually know that? Do you know what exactly your mission in life is? If I woke you up in the middle of the night asking you about your role and mission, would you tell it to me just like saying your name? 

At the 1st time to think about that question, it takes a lot of thinking, it’s hard… Yet it’s extremely important to answer...

How could I get to a place without knowing the path or the way to it? How could I climb a mountain without knowing to where I am heading?

Take your time and think! what’s my mission in life? What do I want to do with my life? ACCURATELY...

One of the most stunning discoveries I made while trying to answer that question is that NOTHING of the things I do is COMPLEMENTARY and NOT ESSENTIAL in my life! =D

Just as info, Am not just a student or focusing only on studying... I’m an HR Head in an activity called ACES (Annual Conference for Engineering Students) in our college, I’m a coach for children on Robot design competition called FLL in an organization called IHYAA and finally one of the founders of a starting company in engineering field called ESS (Engineering Support Society) 

I’m not going to lie to you and say that sometimes I didn’t feel that I’m doing some things additional to what I should be doing! But that stunning discovery I made when I attended a training called “work-life balance” changed it all...

There is nothing called “work-life balance”... Work is a PART of your life! it’s a part of your mission... so, it’s meaningless to say “Work-Life balance” it’s SIMPLY “Life balance”!

All that you do is essential for your role in life and that was a part of what ALLAH created me to do... in another word “I’M NOT DOING ANY BONUS” =)

The new voyage of discovery consists not seeking new landscapes but having new eyes... Take your time and THINK... Think of the things that make you, YOU! 

Take that decision of making that journey deep in yourself and discover it...

Know who you really are… know what you are master at… but most important is to know Why I am here... what I am doing on this earth...

And when you do that, write it down... put it in front of your eyes in every single step you make...

It makes huge difference! just like the feeling of being in a dark room searching for the “light switch” and finally found it! 

NOTHING can be more helpful and leading to success than a clear path...

It may sound hard, but it’s not when you think about it... when you want to know it and discover it... when you stay with yourself just 2 hours with a pen and a paper...

Well, enough talking =D

Go ahead, grab your pen and paper and try it on and see for yourself the sense of ACHIEVEMENT and POWER you’ll get =)

Because simply “If you don’t know where you are going, you end up somewhere else”... It’s the field of your game... it’s the golden circle of your life you need to define...

That’s the 1st step in our philosophy... an essential one to start our journey... Remember that well and keep it always on your mind...

LWT Philosophy

Before we start talking about that title up there “LWT philosophy”… Let me take a moment and introduce myself...

My name is May El-Dardiry, I’m 21 years old... a student in 4th year (final year) Mechatronics department- Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams university.

The journey I’m going to share with you now started 7 years ago... When I was exactly at 1st year secondary school...

I’ve been a member in the radio in our school for 2 years… it was a beautiful world to me… as I love writing and reading, it helped me so much to express who I really am… I was surrounded and supported by wonderful teachers all the way through that.

One day, one of my teachers - who was responsible about the radio - called for me!

“May, you have been now in this place for 2 years now… working and showing great passion… and it’s time to move a step forward… The school administration has assigned you as the head and the leader of this place”

I felt so excited but I had no idea how to start or even what I should do! My 1st leadership position in life… certainly I should feel lost!

Went to my head and stayed with her for more than 2 hours explaining to me every little tiny details of the work... Only then I felt a ray of light! Small thing to begin with!

Moved on, started thinking, chose my team and started working...

I have been through a lot as it was the 1st experience… You feel it’s dark, and your head is spinning, where I am going… what do I do… I don’t know!

The 1st 3 months were hard but things got better and I knew how to manage…

3 years passed, done some great work with my team that school is still till now talking about..

Graduated from school and now in the campus of faculty of engineering Ain Shams University…

WOW! Big world! Felt so small!

The 1st year was so hard... Have been stumbling in the darkness… struggling to just settle down and find my place.

By the 2nd term, things got better… wanted to do something extraordinary beside studying as I was working on activities in school… I’ve found one… I made an application but… I was rejected! So I decided to hold on as I can get to know college more and wait to see what’s going to happen next.

The 2nd year, I decided to go for it again… and unexpectedly, ACCEPTED! And this was my turning point.

I’ve made an exposure of a new world! A world of info and knowledge didn’t even know it exists!!! Felt refreshment and so much change!

Since then, I became extremely interested in Human Resources management and leadership...

I’m always looking for more… seek learning in every way… it’s so interesting… I just feel myself into it… feel so much energy and enthusiasm to go out there and just apply what I learn to help others and myself to get better…

Going into this, by time, felt same repeated in all books, same style of writing and same way of presenting info… I’ve started to get bored and stopped reading for a while!

Till one day, I’ve watched that video on youtube about leadership… it was talking about a book called “The leader who had no title”… the video was amazing! It attracted me a lot to the book.

Looked for it and finally I got it... the book came on time! 

As I started reading, a huge transformation happened within me deep inside... a stream of energy and optimism just run through my veins and I made a vow to transfer what I read to others as a part of the philosophy am going to talk to you about... 

But before we start, I want you to promise me something... something not for me but for yourself...

Promise me to think wisely and deeply about what you are going to read and to actually try it... it’s really simple and easy...

And a very important thing is to pass that knowledge and experience to others...

If you are ready to go that journey with me, then start up your engine and get ready to be inspired... get ready to change... Get ready to ride and achieve your greatness...
